Ultra-high Density Optical Disc Mastering System

Technology:

Ultra-high density mastering system integrates the nano-position stage system, exposing and machining techniques, data transmitting mechanism, design of precise machinery and servo-control system to reaches the goal of ultra-high dense data recorded on a disc. Among these technologies, near-field optics and electron beam exposure techniques were adopted to record the data on a substrate. With the development of these technologies, the recording density on a disc increases greatly without the restriction of optical diffraction limit.

Characteristic:

  • Near-field optics machining (the aperture size of fiber tip: 100nm)
  • Electron beam recording (the spot size of electron beam: 100nm)
  • Data recording density reaches 20 Gbits/in2, far beyond the conventional optical disc.
